The Task of Doing

The Task of Doing is a quartet that explores the complexities of the “roles” we take on in relation to others. The piece examines these roles or personas in relationship to fitting in or standing out, and how a desire for either shapes our choices. How do external expectations change the way we present ourselves? How and why do we take on these roles?
